About Us
The Fidelis Mission
Not just another IT company
We're a local mid-sized team built to support your business with both the personal touch of a small firm and the capabilities of a larger provider.
We do things differently. It starts with how we treat our people, offering benefits like a 36-hour, four-day work week. Because when employees are happy, supported, and loyal, they naturally provide better service and deliver better results.
Proudly local
In a time when many IT providers are being acquired and consolidated by private equity — with the inevitable offshoring or cutting of services — Fidelis remains independent, locally owned, and committed to doing right by our clients, employees, and community.
Ready to grow with you
With a 25+ person team, we’re built to grow with you and bring you the scale you need with the personal care you deserve. We’re not just tech fixers. We’re long-term partners who will help you leverage technology to strengthen your business.
Why clients choose Fidelis:
- Locally owned and operated in the Pacific Northwest
- 25+ person team with friendly, familiar faces
- Personalized service backed by enterprise-level support
- Motivated and efficient staff thanks to our employee-first culture and four-day work weeks
- Award-winning MSP recognized nationally
The Fidelis Story
2008
The beginning of Fidelis
Fidelis Communications was founded by Scott Wittstock in 2008. Originally, the focus was on business telephone systems, network cabling, and low-voltage infrastructure. From the start, the vision was to grow into a full-service IT support provider, blending physical infrastructure with proactive technology solutions.
2010
January
Strategic acquisition of Zim Communications
Fidelis acquired an established IT support company with six employees and more than 150 clients. This saw our transformation into a full-service ICT (Information and Communications Technology) company and the launch of our managed IT division.

2015
Acquisition of Protocol Communications
Fidelis acquired Protocol Communications’ book of business and assets, welcoming senior engineer Bob Penico and maintaining a valued relationship with former owner Sheldon Allen, who continued acting as a sales partner during the transition.
2018
June
First year on the MSP 501 list
Fidelis is named to the Channel Futures MSP 501 list, earning a place among the top managed services providers globally. This milestone marked a turning point in our visibility on the national stage, recognizing our commitment to client success, operational excellence, and forward-thinking services.
2019

For the second year in a row, Fidelis is included on the MSP 501 list. This consecutive honor reflected our company's strong momentum, sustained revenue growth, and proactive service delivery for SMBs and nonprofit clients.
October
Rebranded to Fidelis, Inc.
Recognizing our company’s evolution beyond communications, we officially rebranded from Fidelis Communications to simply Fidelis, Inc.
2020
A year of resilience and innovation
Amid a year of global disruption, Fidelis adapted quickly to remote work, new cybersecurity threats, and changing customer demands. The MSP 501 list once again honored Fidelis for our agility, innovation, and steady leadership in guiding our clients through uncertain times.
2021
February
Launched flex scheduling for employees
To enhance work-life balance, Scott and Paul developed a new flexible scheduling model for the Fidelis team: a four-day workweek with four nine-hour days and every Friday or Monday off, depending on team coverage. This initiative, known as "Flex Scheduling," was designed to put people over profits by prioritizing employee well-being and long-term retention. The program not only improved morale and productivity but also helped us attract values-aligned talent and clients who appreciate this human-first approach.
February
Moved into a permanent home in Renton
In 2021, Fidelis purchased its own office building in Renton, Washington. The move took our team from a rental space in Tukwila into a company-owned headquarters, solidifying our presence in the Pacific Northwest and our commitment to the region. The new space provided room to grow and a lasting home for both clients and employees.
December
Acquired Dynamic Data Associates (DDA)
Fidelis acquired DDA and with it, new clients, technical talent, and valuable assets. DDA’s founder, Dwight Abel, praised Fidelis' acquisition for its seamless onboarding, client-first values, and smooth transition, making his retirement a reality with confidence.
“Fidelis recognizes the paramount value of trust as a cherished asset for any company... I highly recommend Fidelis as a solution for retirement planning or client transition.”
Dwight Abel, Founder, DDA
2022
Advancing cloud and security solutions
We continued to refine our offerings in cloud services and cybersecurity by investing in training, certifications, and layered protection tools. The MSP 501 list recognized these advancements, again positioning Fidelis as a forward-leaning, trusted IT partner.
2023
Celebrating culture and longevity
In 2023, Fidelis celebrated our long-tenured staff and vibrant internal culture, both of which contributed to another year on the MSP 501 list. Client satisfaction and consistent performance remained cornerstones of Fidelis's success.
2024
June
Sixth consecutive MSP 501 recognition
Fidelis capped off six straight years on the MSP 501 list, a rare distinction shared by only the most consistent and high-performing MSPs in the industry. This recognition affirmed our ongoing leadership in IT services throughout the Pacific Northwest.
December
Growing emphasis on nonprofit sector
In 2024, Fidelis was recommended by the owner of TechieAvenger to participate in earning the business of her largest nonprofit clients. Through a series of successful RFP responses, we earned the trust of many mission-driven nonprofit organizations across Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region. With the acquisition of TechieAvenger's client base, nonprofits now account for over 40% of our managed services clients — a tremendous point of pride for our company. Supporting nonprofits that give back to our communities has become a central part of our identity. We are proud to serve organizations that make a difference, and we look forward to continuing to grow our reach in this vital sector that fills our hearts as much as it fulfills our mission.
2025
Recognized on CRN’s MSP 500 list
Fidelis was named to CRN’s 2025 MSP 500 list in the Pioneer 250 category, a prestigious recognition for top-performing service providers supporting SMBs. This national honor underscored our commitment to innovation, responsive service, and client-focused solutions.
